What information do we collect from you?

We currently collect three kinds of information from visitors to this website: information contained in emails/messages sent via the website, site usage information from cookies and log files and information contained in completed on-line forms. We also collect information from you when you enquire or purchase our goods and services.

 

E-mails/Messages​

If you send an email asking for information, we may need to contact other departments to find that information. If your question is technical, we may need to pass it to our technology suppliers. We do not pass on any of your personal information when dealing with your enquiry, unless you have given us permission to do so.

 

Site usage information​

This website, like most major websites, uses browser cookies (known as ‘session’ and ‘persistent’ cookies) for improved website functionality and the statistical recording of visitor activity (cookies cannot identify individuals) to inform ongoing improvements. Online forms​

If you complete any on-line forms on our website, we do not pass the information on to any other parties except where required to carry out your request. Any Minicam employees and data processors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data are obliged to handle vistor’s information with the upmost confidentiality.

How do we use your information?

Subscriber Opt-in via Third Party Processor

If you complete the Newsletter sign-up form on our website or via our Facebook page the information you provide will be transferred to our data processor MailChimp and processed by MailChimp. MailChimp will store your personal data within Minicam’s MailChimp account, in order to allow Minicam Ltd to create and use marketing and customer care email campaigns. Your personal data may be transferred to certain MailChimp sub-processors who perform some critical services, such as helping MailChimp prevent abuse and providing support to Minicam Ltd. ​Legitimate Interest

If you provide your email address (or other contact information) to us when you enquire about our products or services, or we acquire it because you consume our products and services, we may use that information to contact you with information that we believe will be of legitimate interest to you. This will include information on product availability, specifications, service and technical advice.
